Most would agree that kitchens are the heart of a home. Curiously, the words “heart” and “hearth’ are closely connected in origin, the hearth being, of course, an age old cooking area.
Our “Featurework” in this section is a stylish, yet rugged kitchen of tile and glass, wood and shadows, appliances and natural light, teamed to recreate a home’s crucial element. This kitchen’s upgrade required a modest addition, coupled with a few interior structural alterations.
Hunterstruct experience in framing and finishing exteriors is invaluable in constructing interiors, and we look forward to doing more of it.
Here, we tried to do as much as possible with a small space, starting with opening it up to the rest of the building’s interior.
Other structural modifications could have increased this kitchen’s size, but its original long, thin layout was already anĀ ideal, step-saving floor plan for any cozy kitchen.
